Description: |
Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd., (Cardno) is currently seeking Chief of Party (COP) candidates for USAID-funded health projects and upcoming opportunities globally.
The Chief of Party must have strategic vision, leadership qualities, international healthcare reform technical expertise and experience, professional reputation, management experience, excellent interpersonal skills and professional relationships to fulfill the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the program. S/he will also have experience in interacting with government agencies or international health development organizations, host country governments and international donor agencies.

Qualifications: |
The ideal candidate shall have:
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in managing public health projects in developing countries globally preferred
• Experience with applied, operations, and policy research issues in developing countries
• Technical experience addressing maternal and child health, family planning, reproductive health and nutrition interventions
• Experience in undertaking high-level policy dialogue with a multitude of different stakeholders, and in providing technical assistance to developing country Ministries of Health
• Experience managing and reporting on large donor-funded programs, particularly for USAID
• MPH, DrPH, MD or similar advanced degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required
