Description: |
Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is currently seeking multiple Health Systems/Healthcare Financing Experts for an upcoming CDC/PEPFAR-funded global project. The objective of this project is to provide technical assistance and support for CDC-funded global HIV/AIDS activities and programs with respect to health management information systems (HMIS), monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and surveillance
.
The Health Systems/Healthcare Financing Experts will provide technical assistance to, build capacity for, and assist with the implementation of country-specific anti-retroviral treatment (ART) costing studies to inform service delivery planning under PEPFAR.

Qualifications: |
Master’s degree required (MA Economics, MBA) or Economist preferred
10+ years experience successfully designing, implementing and managing international health projects
Proven experience successfully implementing activities in healthcare systems, healthcare reform and healthcare financing and healthcare costing schemes
Detailed knowledge of and experience working with major international donor agencies
Relevant experience includes health economics, health financing, decentralization, research, survey design, evaluation, reform design and implementation, and community-based health insurance
Excellent conceptual and writing skills with the ability to lead proposal efforts
Ability to perform and prioritize a variety of tasks within assigned deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in English with foreign languages preferred
US work authorization required
