Description: Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is seeking Food Security specialists to provide long and short-term expertise globally for upcoming projects under the Global Hunger and Food Security Initiative.

Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas related to Food Security:

• Agriculture
  o Agricultural Economics
  o Agricultural Production (crops and animals)
  o Livestock and Fisheries
  o Forestry
  o Natural Resources Management

• Global Climate Change
  o Climate modeling and forecasting
  o Impacts of Climate Change

Qualifications: Masters degree or higher in technical area of expertise or related field

Strong understanding of the global challenges of food security in a developing country context

Experience working in Africa and/or Asia preferred

Experience in donor funded programs a plus

Excellent report writing and analytical skills  

Fluency in English required
