Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno)  is currently seeking a Senior Organisational Expert for an anticipated “Technical Assistance Support to the Strengthening of the Quality Infrastructure” project in Turkey. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the removal of technical barriers to trade between Turkey and EU in order to ensure the free movement of goods between two parties. 

The project will be based in Ankara, Turkey and is due to start in November 2009 for a period of 27 months.

The Senior Organisational Expert is responsible for preparation of country reports as well as organization of conferences and campaigns.

University degree preferably in fields related to management, engineering, exact sciences or equivalent

Fluency in both spoken and written English

General professional experience

Professional experience in at least 1 project related to quality infrastructure, broadly defined as including the following sub-areas; accreditation, standardization, conformity assessment and metrology/ calibration

International professional experience related to quality infrastructure is an asset

Specific professional experience

5 years of professional experience in a public or private institution that operates in quality infrastructure, broadly defined as including the following sub-areas; accreditation, standardization, conformity assessment and metrology/ calibration
