(Cardno) is actively seeking experienced Financial Sector Professionals for overseas technical assistance and training assignments on a USAID project—The Armenia Financial Sector Deepening project.  The project focuses on making the Armenia financial sector more competitive, and Cardno is helping to improve the efficiency and viability of financial intermediaries and introduce a wide array of products in banking, mortgage, insurance, pension and other areas. 

Qualifications:

Our needs include both short and long term consultants with experience and qualifications in the following areas:

Banking Regulations: Expertise in banking supervision, monetary policy formulation, and payments system development.

Securities Markets:  Knowledge of securities laws and regulations; financial reporting and governance; clearing and settlement systems; broker/dealer operations; and derivatives and commodities markets.

Pension Reform:  Knowledge of policy issues and legal and regulatory framework; pension fund management; experience supervising pension systems.

Insurance: Expertise in insurance regulation, finance and investment as well as in actuarial certification.

Commercial Banking: Expertise in credit; treasury; risk management, internal audit, and compliance; marketing bank products and services, strategic planning; and human resources development; bank training experts.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Lending: Experience with financial product design for micro, small and medium enterprise, including marketing, servicing and credit risk analysis and loan recovery.
