Description:	Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is seeking specialists in public sector reform and urban planning law for an upcoming USAID-funded investment and export advancement project in Macedonia. The anticipated project will enhance the transparency of systems that facilitate investment, institutionalize public private dialogue, and develop a legal framework to streamline the use of construction land. The assignments will be for short-term technical assistance. We are seeking candidates with experience in the following areas: • Strengthening public sector organizational capacity with respect to export promotion • Streamlining public sector investment and export facilitation procedures and systems • Training public procurement officials • Developing legal framework for spatial and urban planning.
Qualifications:	Advanced degree in a relevant field 10+ years experience in at least one of the relevant areas noted above Ability to interact effectively with industry leaders, local partners, and other stakeholders Work experience in the Balkans – preferably in Macedonia Fluency in English; Macedonian language skills a plus
